Find the perfect Donor to help you on your journey to motherhood in our Donor Database. All of the women have been hand-selected personally by Katie based on Health Canada–recommended guidelines.

Here, you also have the opportunity to search for a Donor based on physical characteristics, values, personality traits, desired level of communication, and your timeline.

It’s especially important to remember that we only work with “Known-Donors,” so if your child decides to contact your Donor once they turn 18 years old, she will be happy to open the lines of communication with them. + Screening:

We thoroughly screen both Donors and Intended Parents in order to connect the most compatible people. Our goal is to arm all parties with all the information and assistance they need to get the most out of this life-changing process.

+ Donor Monitoring:

It is fundamental that your Donor receives ongoing support during her donation cycle to ensure that she is adhering to all protocols (medication, appointments, lifestyle, and communication between all parties.) As a Donor myself, I and all of my coordinators know the ins and outs of what’s involved in a donation cycle and are able to guide your Donor through the process using her own expertise.

+ Help with Legal Representation:

We offer you a selection of trusted legal representatives for your consideration who should draw up an egg donation agreement before the cycle begins. We strongly encourage both Intended Parents and Donors to go through this process. We do however go over a number of things with you prior to consider including in your legal agreement to make the most of your time with your lawyer.

+ Donor Travel Management:

Your Coordinator will assist your Donor with all necessary travel arrangements to and from her appointments.

+ Disbursements:

All of your Donor’s donation-related expenses will be reimbursed from the Escrow company that will open a Donor Trust account on your behalf. All funds including our management fee to be included in the trust should be transferred to the Escrow company once the match is confirmed. You will be provided with a receipt for the final amount that was reimbursed to your Egg Donor which you will be able to submit with your taxes as a medical expense.

+ Post-donation Communication:

Your donation Coordinator will be in contact with you and your Donor during the entirety of the donation process to ensure that you are both feeling supported and all your questions or concerns are being answered. Even after your child is born we encourage you to stay in touch with us, however, you may feel comfortable especially if you’re thinking about future sibling cycles.

+ Referrals:

We only refer our clients to trusted professionals, these include a selection of fertility clinics, psychologists, surrogacy services, and pharmacist options for your consideration. If you are looking for a specific referral, please let us know—we are your guide and here to help!

+ Additional Support:

You’re never alone when you work with Her Helping Habit because our intention is for you to be supported throughout the entire process. We understand that you may have a lot of questions along the way, or may just needs someone to talk to, so that’s why your Coordinator will touch base with you and your Donor regularly. Remember, she’s just a phone call or text away! Our team is also available to mediate between lawyers, doctors and nurses before, during and after the donation so that your journey is as stress-free for you as possible.
